I did'nt realize that GZG did some rather familiar Xenomorphs with very pronounced jaw lines.... So a pack was bought to go with my space demon Khurasan miniatures. These 'pets' will fill a nice gap between the regular aliens and the Alien Queen; pack masters if you please.
Painting the figures was a challenge in that it was hard to make them appear anything but black. A midnight blue basecoat then had a sepia wash applied. The figures were then drybrushed with a metallic silver.
The figures were then sepia washed again, with a cold grey drybrush applied. Still the figures didn't feel right so the Vallejo black dip was applied. Funnily enough the figures now just look undercoated...oh, well...
